Porter/Detailer

Porter/Detailer – Auto Dealership

Monday - Friday 8am-6pm / Every other Saturday 8am-2pm

Must have valid driver's license and insurance with clean driving record

Must be able to pass background check and drug test

Job Responsibilities

• Mow, weedeat and spray weeds on a bi-weekly basis or as needed
• Maintain facilities cleanliness including cleaning windows, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, snow shoveling, etc,.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more 
• Act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles
• Detail vehicles as needed
• Maintain inventory lot presentation
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before being brought to frontline
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries

Education and/or Experience

Experience preferred, not required.
